2024 has been a challenging year for the recruitment sector and our members have shown great resilience through tough market conditions. We look forward to welcoming new opportunities in 2025 and continuing to support your growth.

In our 25th year, we have launched a brand-new website to enhance your experience as well as adding new member services, including our Advanced Media Service to support members. Here are our highlights of 2024 and how we plan to support members in 2025.

Saving Costs and Increasing Productivity
  • Advanced Media Service - Our Advanced Media Service helps members to optimise job board ad spend and cut advertising costs, whilst maintaining strategic impact. 2024 has seen an average saving of 18% on media contracts for recruitment businesses by using this service to date.
  • Training and Development - Members receive an exclusive 25% discount on our Training and Development programmes to make training more accessible and allow members to upskill teams and boost performance without breaking the budget.
  • A new supplier discount initiative is coming in 2025 to provide even more cost savings for members. The new programme will enable members to access exclusive discounts on valuable services provided by our best-in-class Trusted Partners. This includes offers on marketing, accounting, finance, legal and HR services.
  • Legal Helpdesk - In the last year, we have completed an impressive 3,000+ queries with an average response time of 3 hours. This valuable service is free to members.
  • Understanding the market - Our extensive market research and reports help members to understand current market conditions and create a strategy for where to go next. In 2024, we created 35 reports supporting sector knowledge, regional focus and international expansion.

Realising Your Ambition

  • International Growth - APSCo membership supports you to unlock international opportunities. The APSCo team offers a suite of services to empower your journey towards expansion, including International Trade Delegations, Helpdesks, market research and the US Contract Service (strengthening support for US expansion).
  • Events - We have held 114 events in 2024 (including 61 face-to-face events and 53 webinars) and we already have 81 events planned for the first half of 2025. We cover a diverse range of hot topics within the sector and offer valuable networking opportunities for members. In 2025, we will increase executive dining opportunities for all members and enhanced the value of all events with more interactive formats. View our events here.
  • APSCo Disrupt - Our Disrupt thought-leadership events have been a popular addition to the events calendar as we seek to shape the future of the recruitment market in the coming years. This year, 135 APSCo members have enjoyed attending Disrupt, and 4000 of you have benefitted from our APSCo Disrupt reports

Without being part of the APSCo Trade Delegation, it would have taken us at least 6 months to obtain this level of information.
