APSCo has submitted a formal letter to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP, in response to the recent announcement on agency and temporary staffing in the NHS.
In our letter, we express concern over the Department’s aim to eradicate agency spending entirely. While we support the ambition to build a sustainable, long-term NHS workforce, we believeflexibility is essential to the system’s success.
