Disclosure and Barring Service, Acting Head of Partnerships

Cathy Taylor is Acting Head of Partnerships at Disclosure and Barring Service (her substantive role is Regional Outreach Manager North and Nations) and she is responsible for Regional Outreach, National Stakeholder Engagement, External Stakeholder Events including the annual conference and the Strategic Liaison Network which facilitates engagement between the Chairman and Chief Executive and their opposite numbers in key partner organisations.  Prior to working for DBS Cathy has worked in the voluntary sector supporting workforce development, developing and delivering training to the children’s workforce, supporting families with pre-school children and children who have been impacted by domestic abuse. She has also been a children’s centre manager employed by a local authority and has been a member of a Local Safeguarding Children’s Board training team.
