Mark’s talk will also touch on how frameworks, Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), and technology shape recruitment choices, offering insights to help you navigate and thrive in this evolving market.

Tania will take us through the latest news on the ERB and the elements that will have an impact on education recruitment post the Spring Statement on 26th March, such as the School Support Staff Negotiating Body (SSSNB) and the recruitment of 6,500 teachers as stated in Labour’s election manifesto.

Mark Jeynes

Mark is a Partner at CIL and leads its Education & Training Practice. He has over 20 years’ experience as a management consultant, having previously spent 12 years at The Parthenon Group (now EY-P) and 4 years at OC&C Strategy Consulting.

Mark has extensive experience advising investors and clients across the education sector. His experience in the education recruitment market dates back to 2010 and over the past 15 years, he has advised a number of investors on opportunities in the space and has also conducted strategy projects for some of the key agencies.

Mark has also advised a number of providers of products and services to schools in the UK, including GL Education, Espresso Education and GL Education.

Mark took a break from full-time consulting in 2014 and with Charlie Freer, established Inspiring Futures Education (IFE) (www.ifedu.com) which currently owns two international schools in the UK, Bishopstrow College and Padworth College. Mark continues to be a Non-Executive Director of IFE.
Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Baking & Finance from Loughborough University of Technology and an MBA from London Business School.

Jess joined CIL in 2016 and is an Associate Director in the Education & Training Practice.
Jess has advised clients across a range of education sub-sectors, including corporate training, e-learning, skills & employability, school services, and higher education.

Within school services, Jess has worked on a number of engagements in the education recruitment market (including Operam Education most recently), as well as engagements in education resources, outsourced services (HR and payroll), edtech and alternative provision.

Jess holds a BA (Hons) in Modern & Medieval Languages from Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.
