Meeting Agenda

The Government has launched various strategies in H1 2025 including the Industrial Strategy and the NHS Plan for Change in addition to the ERB. Q4 will be packed with policy developments: ERB Consultations on the Fair Work Agency, Zero Hours Provisions, Day One Rights, Fire and Rehire, Umbrella regulations, Growth and Skills Levy evolution.

  • Are you now starting to plan for implementation across your business and your clients’?
  • Are you starting to budget for change?
  • What do you want to see from the Chancellor in the Budget to support you, your business, and your sectors?
  • What challenges do you see downstream?

What will be the output?

Firstly, this discussion will form the basis of APSCo UK’s and OutSource’s initial draft submission to the Chancellor ahead of the autumn Budget.

Secondly, we hope members will provide evidence on potential financial and societal impacts of the ERB changes – bluntly the costs to their business of implementing the new regulations and their thoughts on broader labour market impacts.  We will feed this into the Government’s financial impact assessments, which are currently inadequate.

Who will find this useful and worth attending: Business leaders, finance, legal and compliance leads, regulatory implementation project leads, anyone with an interest in government policy and public affairs.  Open to APSCo UK and OutSource members and Trusted Partners.
