12:00pm – Matrix Compliance Proposal
Following our webinar, we will continue our meeting for an additional 30 minutes, giving us the opportunity to discuss Matrix’s recent proposal to enforce the use of their compliance system, at an additional cost to recruitment businesses within their supply chain. Furthermore, their stipulation that businesses rebate them 1% for utilising umbrella companies outside of their preferred network—including those affiliated with APSCo—raises significant concerns. This requirement not only conflicts with the principles of fair market competition but also appears to fall outside the MSTAR Framework requirements. These proposed changes could impose undue financial and operational burdens on businesses while potentially limiting choice and compliance flexibility. We need to evaluate the potential impacts on our recruitment business members and consider whether this aligns with broader regulatory frameworks and determine how we can respond to ensure fair and equitable terms within the supply chain.
During this extended session, your cameras and microphones will be enabled to allow you to share and discuss this proposal.
Who should attend?
Senior managers and business owners looking to stay ahead of the changes and excel in compliance.

Fiona Brunton
Brunton Bid Writing
Fiona Brunton is one of the few professional tender writers dedicated to the recruitment industry. A recent winner of APSCo’s Recruitment Service Provider of the year award, Fiona has worked in the recruitment sector for over 20 years (Manpower, Search Consultancy & Pertemps) before setting up her own consultancy and training business in 2005.
For the last nine years, she has specialised in helping recruiters to understand what makes the Buyer tick (and indeed fume!) by providing a portfolio of tender writing and training services to help independent and SME agencies in all sectors to compete effectively with the “big boys.” Her partnerships with purchasing experts have allowed her to really get under the skin of procurement, and translate this knowledge into practical techniques that recruiters can use to move their proposals and tender submissions from “acceptable” to “outstanding.”
Fiona has an exceptional track record, winning over 75% of all the business she has been commissioned to work on. To date, she has written in excess of 800 PQQs, tenders and proposals; with business wins valued at multiple millions for her recruitment clients.
