ACAS - New advice to raise awareness of neurodiversity at work

The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) has published new advice on neurodiversity to help employers create inclusivity in the workplace.

Neurodiversity refers to the different ways a person's brain processes information. The spectrum of neurodiversity is quite large and includes amongst other things ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia for instance. Neurodiversity is often considered a disability under the Equality Act 2010 which means that such individuals are protected against discrimination and have a right to request reasonable adjustments at work.
