Consultation on the application of zero-hours contracts measures to agency workers

APSCo and Outsource support the Government’s broad aims to strengthen workers’ rights and deliver fair compensation for agency staff. But both APSCo and Outsource are clear that such reform must be taken forward in a way that does not place undeliverable additional burdens on a sector that is already well-regulated and providing flexible work for those that want it in highly-skilled, growth-driving sectors.

APSCo and Outsource are also keen to ensure that the Government continues to preserve the significant benefits of flexibility within temporary work that are valued by both the workers place and the end hirer with the need for workers.
