Future of Healthcare Staffing series - NHS Bank Staff

In this session with Kate Harper, Director of Workforce Insight, NHS Professionals, we will explore the future of bank staffing in light of the NHS 10 Year Plan and the role recruiters can play in supporting workforce planning for both perm and contingent staff.

This includes:

  • an understanding of the role of the banks within the supply chain, both managing the Trusts’ flexible workforce and as MSPs; their level of involvement in Trust policy and level of control.
  • an understanding of the impact of government policy on the major NHS banks in 2025 and their plans moving forward.
  • an understanding of how APSCo members can work with the banks to support the Government’s three shifts in the 10 Year Health Plan.

Most importantly, we will try and identify potential future areas of opportunity for workforce supply, volumes, and supply models to help support the devolved, neighbourhood model planned; and look at plans for supply chain communication on future changes.
