Future of Healthcare Staffing series - Non-clinical staffing

Government policy towards contingency staffing in the NHS is changing. Recruiters into the NHS are facing increasing budgetary challenges, and now - more than ever, it pays to stay ahead of what is on the horizon for the healthcare sector.

In this session we will explore other potential revenue opportunities outside of the clinical sector where experience of recruitment with the NHS can be advantageous. This can include social/community care, interim management, mental health work, support, admin and other ancillary staff.

Key Takeaways Include:

  • Greater understanding of the impact of government policy on the non-clinical/medical supply volumes
  • Understand the approach being taken/planned by the frameworks based on current market demand.
  • Understand how APSCo members can work to support the Government’s three shifts in the 10 Year Health Plan.
  • Identify potential future areas of opportunity for workforce supply, volumes, and supply models to help support the devolved, neighbourhood model planned.
  • Plans for supply chain communication on future changes.
  • Potential areas for diversification.
