Future of Healthcare Staffing series - Update on NHS Workforce Strategy

With the Government’s three shifts in the 10 Year Health Plan in mind, we will look at the rationale behind the Government stance on “agency” workers and the part they play in the NHS workforce; and perhaps most importantly, understand how APSCo members can work with stakeholders to add maximum value in healthcare staffing. In doing so, we will explore the UK Government’s policy on healthcare/the NHS and its performance to date.

We will also look at potential future areas of opportunity for workforce supply and supply models to support a devolved, neighbourhood model.
