Vacancysoft & APSCo Finance Sector Trends Report | November 2025
After a period of muted expansion, the UK’s financial services sector is showing clear signs of resurgence. New data suggests that professional vacancies across finance will climb by just over 10% in 2025, with growth concentrated mainly in fintech and investment finance. London remains the beating heart of this recovery, accounting for more than half of all financial roles, a share that has inched up from 50.8% to 52.7% year-on-year. Vacancies in the capital are forecast to rise by 14.3%, far outpacing the rest of the UK, which is set to grow more modestly at 5.9%.
