The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) has welcomed two new hires to support member services and events.
Jackie Torr joins the trade association as Member Services Director – a newly formed role – where she will be responsible for driving outstanding and innovative member services. Torr, who will also sit on the APSCo board, joins following eight years as Operations Director and Managing Director of TEAM, the network organisation for independent recruitment businesses.
Torr commented on the move:
I am delighted to join APSCo, such a well-respected name in the staffing sector. Using my recruitment and events experience, I am looking forward to delivering a high quality and innovative services portfolio to continue to enrich our member experience.
Torr is joined by Maxine Hart, who has taken on the role of Head of Stakeholder Engagement at APSCo. Hart brings with her 20+ years’ experience in the recruitment sector, excellent relationship building and networking skills, and has experience building events in the sector.
Ann Swain, Global CEO at APSCo, welcomed the two new recruits:
I’d like to extend a warm welcome to both Jackie and Maxine into the APSCo team. We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible member services and I’ve no doubt that both of these new hires will have a key role in helping APSCo elevate its offerings even further. I look forward to working closely with both in the years ahead.
