Meeting Agenda

Data has always been at the heart of any successful marketing strategy. By meticulously collecting and analysing data on candidate demographics, skill sets, career aspirations, and even application behaviours, recruiters can tailor their job advertisements and marketing campaigns to resonate with specific talent pools. Similarly, understanding client needs and hiring patterns through data analytics allows for the proactive identification of market gaps and the development of targeted recruitment solutions. This data-driven approach not only enhances the efficiency of candidate sourcing and placement but also enables the business to measure the return on investment of its marketing efforts, refine its strategies, and ultimately, build stronger relationships with both clients and candidates in a highly competitive market.

In this session we will identify key data metrics you need to be tracking and how you can use them to guide your marketing strategy.

Simon Malpas

TRS, Co-owner

Before Setting up TRS Media in 2022 Simon has over 20 plus years’ experience within the recruitment sector, the last 6 years coming as an Account Director with Totaljobs and Jobsite. During this time he looked after a lot of the major agencies in the North of England. He has experience of helping agencies of all sizes, from global recruiters to one person start up’s brand new to advertising. He has helped them purchase and optimise advertising that was right for their business.

Simon now specialises in working with recruitment agencies to help them achieve more with their advertising. Using a data driven approach to help recruitment companies understand, purchase and optimise their advertising spend. The use of the companies own data is key to ensuring they can do more with less.

Job Boards and advertising are often left alone until renewal, but having someone working with you to ensure their performance is constantly being maximised has a positive impact on candidate generation. Combining this to also having a media agency who specialises in getting the best possible packages and prices for their clients makes a massive difference to a recruitment business.

Simon is based just outside of Manchester and has been for the last 25 years but is originally from the Lake District so is no stranger to rain!
