APSCo Labour Market Enforcement Strategy 2025 to 2026 Call for Evidence

APSCo and OutSource welcome the establishment of the Fair Work Agency (FWA) to ensure compliance whilst emphasising the need for balanced implementation and timely enforcement. It is critical for the FWA’s success that the remit is clear, the government departments cooperate with each other in order to fully support the FWA, and that there is regular engagement with all stakeholders. Regular reports must be published of achievements for clear transparency and for the enforcement to have bite. The consolidation of enforcement bodies should preserve existing expertise, particularly from the Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Inspectorate.
