The new SME support this year has kicked off with the SME Leadership Forums, a community created exclusively for small and medium‑sized APSCo UK business leaders who want a trusted space to share challenges, exchange ideas, and strengthen their support network. We are also preparing to launch a new website area with specific resources for SME members.

Legal Updates are published weekly and we produce quarterly Inside Legal & Compliance board briefing reports, perfect to educate board members on upcoming legal and regulatory changes affecting the recruitment sector.
We continue to represent members when it comes to government lobbying and Public Policy. We have already held six member meetings including one with the Department of Business & Trade to collate opinions and form responses to four government consultations in 2026, including the Agency Worker Regulations/Conduct Regulations Review and the Fire and Rehire Consultation. We are also in touch with politicians, civil servants and other trade bodies in respect of the Employment Rights Act Guaranteed Hours Reform closing on 25th August.
