11:05am Decoding the new umbrella regulations for recruitment companies

Chris Bryce, CEO, FCSA

The UK government’s recent decision to introduce new umbrella regulations marks a transformative step towards transparency within the temporary labour market. Chris will present what these changes in regulations mean for the entire supply chain, with a focus on the new umbrella regulations and labour market reforms. This session will offer practical insights for recruitment agencies navigating the impact of these pivotal updates.

At the end of this session, attendees will have a full understanding of what you need to be aware of in the newly proposed regulations, including:

Increased Regulatory Scrutiny: Recruiters are part of the supply chain that will be under scrutiny

Need for Due Diligence: Recruiters will need to conduct thorough due diligence on the umbrella companies they partner with

Potential for Financial Penalties: Non-compliance could lead to fines, back taxes, and other financial penalties for recruiters

Reputational Damage: Associating with non-compliant umbrella companies can damage a recruiter's reputation and lead to loss of business

Impacts on Recruitment Businesses: How best to manage the upcoming changes
