"We are delighted to appoint Lindsay Harrison as Chair for Engineering Recruitment at APSCo. Her extensive experience in supporting critical infrastructure sectors, combined with a strong commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation, makes her an ideal leader for this role. Lindsay's vision aligns perfectly with APSCo's mission to support our members in navigating the complex challenges of engineering recruitment, particularly in addressing skills shortages and promoting best practice. We look forward to her contributions in driving the sector forward."
Commenting on her new role, Lindsay said:
"Engineering recruitment is so critical; especially considering that around 46% of the current talent pool is expected to retire by 2030. It’s vital that engineering leaders come together to prepare for this shift in the workforce, just as they’ve led the way in adopting technology to boost productivity and improve sustainability. That’s one of the many reasons I’m passionate about uniting the industry to share ideas, drive innovation and shape what comes next."
With over 25 years in recruitment and a strong track record in delivering large-scale workforce solutions, Lindsay brings valuable insight to APSCo’s network. The role gives Rullion early visibility of market developments, policy changes, talent challenges and the opportunity to contribute to shaping the sector at a national level—further reinforcing our commitment to helping clients navigate change and build resilient teams.
